14" FHD ThinkPad for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14-inch ultrabook built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8550U quad-core processor running at 1.8GHz. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The non-touch IPS panel delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution suited to office work and travel.

1TB SSD capacity and integrated graphics headroom

The 1TB solid-state drive provides ample space for operating system files, applications and large local datasets without relying on external storage. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles multi-monitor output over HDMI and routine video playback, but it is not suited to 3D rendering, CAD workloads or modern gaming titles.

Bundled OEM adapter and Windows 11 Pro licence

The package includes an OEM 45/65W AC adapter matched to the unit's power requirements, removing the need to source a separate charger. A genuine Windows 11 Pro licence is pre-installed, enabling BitLocker encryption, remote desktop hosting and domain join features immediately after first boot.
