14.0" FHD Touchscreen Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14.0-inch ultrabook with a 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen. It runs on an Intel Core i7-8550U quad-core processor at 1.8GHz with 16GB of DDR4 memory. A 1TB SSD provides the primary storage, and Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles the visual output.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch input

This configuration suits professionals who want a lightweight 14-inch chassis with a responsive touchscreen for direct interaction. The 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM support typical office multitasking and local file storage. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for rendering or gaming should look at a different system. Those requiring more than 16GB of memory or a dedicated GPU will not find it here.

1TB SSD and 16GB RAM headroom

The 1TB solid-state drive offers ample space for operating system, applications, and a large working document library without relying on external drives. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory keeps dozens of browser tabs and productivity apps running smoothly. Intensive video editing, 3D work, or virtualisation workloads will exceed the integrated graphics and memory capacity. Heavy creative suites will hit the ceiling of the UHD 620 iGPU.
