Ready-to-work ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14.0" FHD touchscreen laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core processor and 8 GB DDR4 memory. It ships with a 1 TB SSD and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks.

Step up from dual-core or HDD machines

Replacing a dual-core ultrabook or a system still running a hard drive gives a noticeable lift in multitasking responsiveness and boot speed. The jump is worth it when you need four cores and solid-state storage for office suites, web apps and video calls in a 3.2 lb chassis.

1 TB SSD headroom for documents and media

The 1 TB drive comfortably stores years of Office files, large photo libraries and offline media without constant cleanup. Integrated graphics and 8 GB RAM run out on modern 3D titles, heavy video editing or virtual machines that demand discrete GPU memory or 16 GB-plus system memory.
