Signal Distribution

The LUOM HDMI698352 is a 1x2 HDMI splitter that duplicates one HDMI source to two identical outputs at up to 4K@30Hz. It transmits video and audio simultaneously without quality loss and includes a 5V/2A AC adapter for stable signal amplification over longer cable runs.

Use Case Fit

This unit suits users who need to mirror a single Blu-ray player, console or streaming device to two displays in a home-theatre or signage setup. It does not suit anyone who requires two different images on the two screens, HDCP 2.2 handshake support or 4K@60Hz bandwidth.

Sustained Operation

The powered design maintains a clean 36-bit deep-colour signal over distances up to 100 ft with AWG26 cable — 40 ft input and 60 ft output — preventing the signal drop-out that unpowered splitters exhibit after extended use. The metal enclosure aids heat dissipation during continuous operation.

Questions about this item

What HDMI source and cables do I need to feed the splitter's single input?

Connect any device with an HDMI output — such as a Blu-ray player, Xbox, PS3, PS4 or Roku — using a standard HDMI cable to the splitter's one HDMI female input.

Will my older 1080p monitors work with the 4K@30Hz outputs?

Yes. The splitter passes 1080p at 60 Hz, 1080i at 50/60 Hz, 720p at 50/60 Hz and legacy 480i/480p/576i/576p formats to both outputs simultaneously.

How can I verify both displays show an identical 4K@30Hz picture after setup?

Play 4K@30Hz content and confirm both screens mirror the same image with audio; the splitter does not support 4K@60Hz or independent extended desktops.
