Ready-to-game desktop for 1440p enthusiasts

The Velztorm Pilum arrives assembled with an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 32GB DDR4 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD paired with a 6TB hard drive, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed so the system boots straight to the desktop.

RTX 3070 with 8GB GDDR6 decides 1440p suitability

The graphics card delivers 8GB GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface with DirectX 12 and G-SYNC support. Buyers who need more video memory for heavy 4K texture packs or professional GPU compute workloads should look elsewhere.

750W supply feeds CPU liquid cooler and GPU

A 120mm AIO liquid cooler handles the Ryzen 7 3700X heat output while the 750W power unit runs the complete build. Acoustic level stays low during typical gaming sessions because the liquid loop and GPU fans only spin up under sustained load.

Questions about this item

How does the Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz base clock behave under sustained gaming loads?

The eight-core processor boosts up to 4.4 GHz when thermal headroom allows, so frame-rate heavy titles see higher single-thread speeds without manual overclocking.

What does the RTX 3070 PCIe 4.0 x16 interface actually deliver on this motherboard?

The graphics card runs at full PCIe 4.0 bandwidth, removing any bus bottleneck for the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer in modern titles.

Will the 120 mm AIO liquid cooler and 750 W power supply fit a standard ATX mid-tower chassis?

The 120 mm radiator mounts to a single rear or top fan slot, and the 750 W unit uses a standard ATX form factor with native 8-pin PCIe connectors for the RTX 3070.
