Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum system is a pre-built gaming desktop configured with an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It includes 64GB of DDR4 system memory, a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD paired with a 2TB hard drive, and a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler. The chassis features RGB lighting and ships with Windows 10 Pro installed.

Suited for high-refresh 1440p and 4K gaming.

The 8-core CPU and high-end GPU combination suits players targeting high frame rates at 1440p or 4K resolution in modern titles. The 64GB DDR4 capacity supports heavy multitasking and content creation workflows alongside gaming. Buyers who require Bluetooth connectivity should look elsewhere, as the specification lists no Bluetooth capability.

Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 graphics card

The installed Radeon RX 6900 XT provides 16GB of GDDR6 video memory and supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, AMD FreeSync and Radeon Anti-Lag technologies. This GPU specification is the primary factor determining whether the system meets a buyer's performance target for demanding games and applications. The 750W power supply delivers power to this graphics card and the rest of the components.

Questions about this item

What case clearance is required for the 120 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler?

The 120 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler needs a 120 mm fan mount in the case; ensure the chassis supports a 120 mm radiator and has space for the pump block above the Ryzen 7 3700X socket.

How is the Radeon RX 6900 XT 16 GB GDDR6 graphics card installed, and what step is often missed?

Seat the card in the top PCIe x16 slot, then connect both 8-pin power cables from the 750 W supply; the step often missed is plugging in the second 8-pin connector, which prevents the GPU from posting.

Which components will need replacement first, and what specifications must match?

The 750 W power supply and 120 mm AIO cooler are the likeliest replacements; any new PSU must deliver 750 W with dual 8-pin PCIe cables, and any replacement AIO must fit a 120 mm mount and the AM4 socket used by the Ryzen 7 3700X.
