Add SATA power ports for extra drives
This Vszerda SATA power Y splitter cable turns a single 15 pin SATA power connector into two female ports so you can run an additional SSD, hard drive or optical drive from the same power supply output. It is built with 18 AWG conductors and carries the 3.3 V, 5 V and 12 V rails required by SATA devices. The cable measures 7 inches or 20 cm end to end.
Suits builders with limited SATA power leads
It fits desktop towers where the power supply has fewer SATA plugs than the number of 2.5 inch SSDs, 3.5 inch hard drives or DVD drives you want to install. It is not for users whose power supply cannot deliver enough total wattage for the extra devices or who need a longer reach than 7 inches provides.
Splitter length is 7 inches
The fixed 7 inch length decides whether the cable can span the distance between your power supply SATA port and the drive bays in your case. Measure the routing path before ordering; if the gap is longer you will need a different cable.

Questions about this item
Will the 15-pin SATA Y-splitter handle both a 3.5-inch hard drive and a 2.5-inch SSD from one PSU port?
Yes, the splitter delivers 3.3V, 5V and 12V to two 15-pin female connectors so a 3.5-inch hard drive and a 2.5-inch SSD can share the single PSU SATA port.
How can I confirm the 18 AWG cable is supplying stable power after I connect the drives?
Verify each drive spins up and is recognised in BIOS or the operating system; stable detection means the 18 AWG wires are carrying 3.3V, 5V and 12V correctly.
Does the 7-inch package include mounting screws or only the Y-splitter cable?
The 1-pack contains only the 15-pin male to dual female Y-splitter cable; mounting screws for drives must be sourced separately.
