Built for harsh environments

The DELL Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop designed to survive drops, vibration, dust and moisture. A quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor with 6MB cache and 16GB DDR4 memory runs Windows 10 Pro on a 256GB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 touchscreen supports 10-point input and works with gloves on.

Replacing a standard business notebook

Choose this unit when field work demands a chassis tested to military-grade standards and a display readable in direct sunlight. The jump is worth it if your current laptop fails in extreme temperatures, wet conditions or after repeated transport. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles office tasks but not heavy 3D workloads.

Check your workflow before ordering

Verify that the available USB 3.0, USB Type C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial and RJ-45 ports match your peripherals and docking needs. Confirm the 64-bit Windows 10 Pro image meets your software licensing and security policies. Ensure the integrated graphics and fixed 16GB memory satisfy the applications you run daily.
