Precision 5530 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation with a 3840 x 2160 UHD touch display. It runs on an Intel Core i9-8950HK six-core processor at 2.90 GHz with turbo up to 4.80 GHz. The system includes 32 GB DDR4 memory and dual storage: 256 GB M.2 plus 4 TB SSD. Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA Quadro P2000 with 4 GB GDDR5. Windows 11 Pro is installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Creatives and engineers needing a calibrated 72 % colour-gamut touch screen and certified Quadro drivers for CAD or video work will benefit. Buyers who need more than 32 GB RAM or a newer GPU architecture should consider other options.

Deciding specification: 4 TB total solid-state

The combined 256 GB M.2 and 4 TB SSD capacity is the key figure for project-heavy workflows. It determines whether large datasets, 4K footage or virtual machines fit locally without external drives.
