Mobile workstation for CAD

The DELL Precision 7730 is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation running Windows 11 Pro. It pairs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor with 64 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. The NVIDIA Quadro P3200 GPU provides 6 GB GDDR5 video memory for professional graphics tasks.

Upgrade from integrated graphics

This system replaces laptops that rely on integrated graphics for engineering workloads. The dedicated Quadro P3200 delivers the certified driver stability required by CAD and 3D modelling applications. The jump is worth it when your current machine struggles with viewport performance or rendering times in those programmes.

Suits engineers needing certified drivers

Buyers who need ISV-certified drivers for SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar packages will benefit from the Quadro architecture. Users whose workflows depend on consumer GeForce features or who require a lighter chassis for frequent travel should look at something else.
