Doomed Course DLC for Dead by Daylight

This downloadable add-on expands the horror multiplayer game Dead by Daylight on PC. It introduces a new Killer named The Houndmaster and a new Survivor named Taurie Cain. Owners also receive two exclusive cosmetic items: The Houndmaster’s Titanium Skull and Taurie Cain’s Gold Tier outfit. The content is delivered as a Steam code requiring activation on the platform.

Players who own the base game on Steam

The DLC suits existing Dead by Daylight players on PC who want fresh characters and cosmetics. A Steam account and the base game are mandatory for activation and play. The product is blocked from activation in several listed countries. Buyers without the base game or those residing in restricted regions cannot use this code.

Steam DRM and base-game dependency

The single specification that decides compatibility is the Steam DRM requirement combined with the base-game dependency. The code only works through the Steam client and will not function without Dead by Daylight already installed. A 64-bit Windows system is also required per the minimum specifications.

Questions about this item

Does this DLC add any extra load that could make my PC run hotter or louder during long sessions?

The Doomed Course DLC adds the Houndmaster Killer, Taurie Cain Survivor and two exclusive cosmetics to the base game, so it uses the same system resources as Dead by Daylight itself; no separate power, heat or noise figures are published for the add-on.

What do I need to own before I can activate and play this downloadable code?

You need a Steam account, the base game Dead by Daylight on Steam, and a PC running a 64-bit Windows operating system; the code is delivered as a digital download and redeemed through Steam.

Will the new Killer, Survivor and cosmetics appear in my existing Dead by Daylight save if I keep the current version installed?

Yes, once the DLC is activated on the same Steam account that owns the base game, the Houndmaster, Taurie Cain and the two exclusive cosmetics unlock automatically inside your existing installation.
