Owners seeking fresh horror variety

This download suits players who already own Dead by Daylight on Steam and want new mechanics inspired by the Ringu franchise. Buyers without the base game or those in blocked regions cannot activate the code and should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What do I need on my PC before I can activate the Steam code for Sadako Rising Chapter?

You need a Steam account and the base game Dead by Daylight already installed on Steam. The code activates the DLC through the Steam client on Windows.

How do I install the Onryo and Yoichi Asakawa content after I redeem the code?

In your Steam Library, right-click Dead by Daylight, select Properties, go to the DLC tab, and tick the Sadako Rising Chapter box. Steam will download and install the new Killer, Survivor and Cursed Videotape charm automatically.

Will I need to buy anything else later to keep using the Cursed Videotape charm or the Onryo's Deluge of Fear power?

No. The charm and all Sadako Rising Chapter content are permanently unlocked once the DLC is redeemed. No further purchases or subscriptions are required to keep using them.
