DLC for Dead by Daylight

This downloadable add-on adds the Springtrap Killer to Dead by Daylight on PC. It is intended for players who already own the base game and want to expand their roster with a new character. The content delivers a crossover experience themed around the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. Activation requires a Steam account and the base game installed.

Steam platform requirement

The DLC runs exclusively through the Steam client on a Windows PC with a 64-bit processor and operating system. An internet connection is needed for activation and online play. No separate launcher or additional DRM layer is involved beyond the standard Steam integration. The product is a digital code with no physical media.

New Killer and cosmetics

The add-on unlocks Springtrap with the Fazbear's Fright power, which fires a projectile that inflicts the Broken and Oblivious status effects on survivors. Also included are an exclusive Stack of Pizzas badge and the Vent Crawl banner. The content does not add new maps, survivors, or gameplay modes beyond the Killer and cosmetic items.

Questions about this item

Is this DLC the only add-on available for Dead by Daylight on Steam?

What does the Springtrap Killer actually add to my matches?

Springtrap brings the Fazbear's Fright power, firing a projectile that inflicts Broken and Oblivious status while preventing healing until removed, plus a recall ability and Killer Instinct on near misses.

Does the Steam DRM mean I need the base game installed first?

Yes, a Steam account is required for activation and this DLC requires the base game Dead by Daylight on Steam in order to play.
