Expansion Pack Contents

The Green Man 86409 Dead by Daylight Escape Expansion Pack is a downloadable DLC for PC that unlocks 12 original Survivor characters on Steam. It is intended for players who already own the base game and want immediate access to a broad roster of distinct playstyles without purchasing individual chapters.

Build Integration

Activation requires a Steam account and the base game Dead by Daylight installed on a 64-bit Windows system. The code delivers the characters directly into the existing installation, so no additional storage allocation or separate launcher is needed beyond the standard Steam client.

Sustained Use

Once redeemed, the 12 Survivors and their associated perks remain permanently available in the player’s library for every match. The expansion adds no background processes or recurring validation beyond the normal Steam DRM handshake, so long sessions see no extra overhead compared to the base game alone.

Questions about this item

Does this DLC demand more from my PC when I play long sessions with all 12 survivors unlocked?

The Escape Expansion Pack adds characters and perks only; it does not raise the base game's minimum requirement of a 64-bit processor and operating system.

Will the extra survivor models and perks make my system run hotter or louder during all-day play?

No — the pack is purely cosmetic and gameplay content; it installs no background services and adds no load beyond what the base game already uses.

What must I already own on Steam before this code will activate and let me play?

You need a Steam account and the base game Dead by Daylight installed; the code unlocks the 12 survivors inside that existing installation.
