Silent Hill Chapter DLC

This downloadable chapter adds The Executioner killer, Cheryl Mason survivor, and a new map to Dead by Daylight on PC. It is sold as a Steam code that activates directly in your library. The content is rated M for Mature and published by Behaviour Interactive Inc. Buyers receive a digital licence, not a physical disc.

Steam activation and base-game requirement

The code redeems on Steam and unlocks the chapter only if you already own Dead by Daylight on the same platform. Without the base game installed, the DLC cannot be played. Activation is blocked in the listed countries, so verify your region before purchase. A Steam account and broadband connection are mandatory for download and online play.

Windows 10 64-bit and hardware minimums

Your system must run a 64-bit version of Windows 10 with at least 8 GB of RAM and 25 GB of free storage. Minimum graphics call for a DX11-compatible GTX 460 1GB or AMD HD 6850 1GB. The processor requirement lists Intel Core i3-4170 or AMD FX-8120. DirectX 11 and a compatible sound device are also required.

Questions about this item

Does this DLC require any future maintenance or replacement after purchase?

No, the Silent Hill Chapter DLC is a permanent digital licence tied to your Steam account; once activated it stays in your library with no further upkeep.

What system limit will appear first during extended play sessions?

The 25 GB storage allocation and 8 GB RAM minimum are the fixed resources the game draws on, so available drive space and memory headroom set the practical ceiling.

How much heat or noise does the game add when running all day on my PC?

The DLC itself produces no heat or sound; any increase comes from your GPU and CPU workload while rendering the Silent Hill map and characters.
