Dead by Daylight Chapter DLC

This downloadable chapter adds a new Killer, a new Survivor and a new Map to Dead by Daylight on PC. It is delivered as a Steam code that activates on an existing Steam account. The content requires the base game Dead by Daylight to be owned and installed before it can be played. Activation is restricted in the countries listed in the specifications.

Horror fans who own the base game

Players who already own Dead by Daylight on Steam and want to expand the roster with Freddy Krueger and Quentin Smith can use this DLC. Buyers who do not own the base game on Steam will not be able to access the new content. Users in the blocked regions listed in the specifications cannot activate the code.

Steam DRM and base-game requirement

The product uses Steam DRM, so a Steam account and the base game Dead by Daylight on Steam are mandatory for activation and play. Without both, the chapter cannot be installed or launched.

Questions about this item

Will this DLC work on a Windows 10 64-bit PC that only meets the base game's minimum specs?

Yes, the DLC requires the same 64-bit Windows 10 OS and a Steam account, so any PC that runs the base game will run this chapter.

How do I verify the Freddy Krueger killer, Quentin survivor and Badham Preschool map are active after redeeming the code?

Launch Dead by Daylight on Steam; the new killer, survivor and map appear in the character select and map rotation once the DLC is installed.

Does the purchase include a Steam key only, or is the base game Dead by Daylight also supplied?

Only the DLC Steam code is included; the base game Dead by Daylight must already be owned on Steam to play this chapter.
