What this DLC adds

The Saw Chapter expands Dead by Daylight with a new Killer named The Pig, a Survivor called David Tapp, and the Gideon Meat Plant map. It is built for players who already own the base game on Steam and want fresh asymmetric-horror content. The DLC requires a 64-bit Windows 10 system and a Steam account for activation. Buyers who do not own Dead by Daylight cannot use this code.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a digital add-on the product generates no heat, makes no sound and draws no power beyond the normal operation of the host computer. Performance impact is limited to the resources already used by the base game. There are no additional thermal or acoustic considerations for this download.

Build fit and requirements

Activation is handled through Steam and is restricted to select countries; the blocked list includes AF, BY, CF, CD, CU, IR, IQ, KP, LB, LY, MM, RU, SO, SD, SY, UA, VE, YE, ZW and SS. A Steam copy of Dead by Daylight must already be present in the library. The download frees no storage on its own and adds no hardware dependencies beyond the base game’s existing requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I install The Saw Chapter DLC using the Steam code 86343, and what step do people often miss?

Activate the Steam code in your Steam client, ensure the base game Dead by Daylight is already installed, then download the DLC from the game's store page or library; the step often missed is owning the base game first.

Will The Saw Chapter DLC require any future maintenance or additional purchases after activation?

No, once activated the DLC is permanently attached to your Steam account; future game updates are handled automatically by Steam and no further purchases are needed for this content.

What is the first limitation I will hit when playing The Saw Chapter DLC on PC for long sessions?

The primary limit is meeting the minimum Windows 10 64-bit OS requirement and having the base game Dead by Daylight installed; performance depends on your hardware meeting those specs.
