ThinkPad T490 i5-8265U 12GB 512GB

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14.0-inch business laptop powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8265U quad-core processor with a 4.1 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 12GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD running Windows 10 Pro. Integrated Intel UHD graphics drive the 1366 x 768 HD display.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports

This configuration suits office workers who value the built-in RJ-45 Ethernet jack, full-size HDMI and multiple USB 3.1 Type-A ports for docking without adapters. Buyers who want a higher-resolution screen, discrete graphics or user-replaceable memory should look elsewhere as the panel is fixed at HD resolution and 8GB of RAM is soldered onboard.

Single specification: 1366 x 768 display resolution

The native 1366 x 768 resolution determines whether this T490 fits the workflow; text and UI elements occupy more space than on Full HD panels, which affects multi-window productivity and content review.
