Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14.0 inch Windows 10 Pro notebook built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8265U quad-core processor that reaches 4.1 GHz turbo. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD graphics drive the 1366 x 768 HD display at 60 Hz.

Suits office work and travel.

This configuration handles document editing, web browsing, video calls and light multitasking on the move. Buyers who need more memory for virtual machines, larger local datasets or discrete graphics for rendering and gaming should look at a different system. The 720p webcam and fingerprint reader support everyday security and conferencing.

256GB SSD and 8GB RAM cover standard workloads

The PCIe NVMe drive provides fast boot and application launch for typical business software. Eight gigabytes of soldered DDR4 is sufficient for single-application focus and moderate browser tabs. Memory-intensive tasks such as large spreadsheet models, container development or media editing will exhaust the available capacity.
