ThinkPad T490 for business and study

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for office work and study. It ships new with Windows 10 Pro, an Intel Core i5-8265U quad-core processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD graphics drive the 1366 x 768 display.

1366 x 768 panel limits visual workspace

The screen resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels on a 14.0-inch panel. Text and spreadsheets fit less information than on higher-density panels, so users who need multiple side-by-side windows or crisp detail for design should verify the resolution meets their needs.

Thunderbolt 3 and fingerprint reader add flexibility

A Thunderbolt 3 port supports high-speed peripherals and external displays through a single USB-C connection. The fingerprint reader enables Windows Hello sign-in without a password. Bluetooth 5.1 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi handle wireless accessories and network access.
