Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 pairs an Intel Core i5-8265U quad-core processor with 24GB of DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 14.0-inch 1366 x 768 display. This configuration suits office workloads, video calls and light content creation while travelling.

Thermals noise and 65W power draw

A 65W power supply feeds the system and charges the 3-cell 50 WHr battery. Integrated Intel UHD graphics keep heat output modest during typical productivity tasks. Fan noise stays low for everyday use such as document editing, web browsing and video conferencing.

Thunderbolt 3 and fingerprint reader

Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C adds a single-cable docking option for external displays and peripherals. The fingerprint sensor enables Windows Hello sign-in without a password. A 720p webcam, Bluetooth 5.1 and a micro SD reader complete the connectivity set for hybrid work.
