DLC content

This downloadable content adds one Hunter and two weapons to Hunt: Showdown 1896. It is intended for players who already own the base game on Steam and want additional cosmetic and gameplay options. The pack includes the Hunter Carter and two unique weapon variants. No standalone play is possible without the base title.

System requirements

The DLC requires a 64-bit processor and operating system alongside a Steam account for activation. It inherits the base game’s performance profile, so thermals, noise and power draw remain unchanged from the core experience. No additional hardware demands are introduced by this content.

Included items

The bundle provides Carter, a sharpshooter Hunter with a fictionalized Wild West background, plus Bear's Leg, a Vandal 73C Bullseye featuring pearlescent lens and gold-inlay bear details, and Carter's Quickshot, a personalized Specter 1882 Shorty built for rapid firing sequences. These items expand loadout variety but do not alter game mechanics.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Trick Shooter DLC after I redeem the Steam code?

Activate the code in Steam, ensure the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 is installed, then tick the DLC in the game's properties to download it.

Will I need to repurchase this DLC if I change Steam accounts?

The licence stays on the Steam account that redeemed the 86963 code; a different account would need its own activation.

What is the first limitation I hit when playing the new hunter and weapons for long sessions?

The base game's 64-bit Windows requirement and your hardware's thermal limits will constrain sustained play.
