What this DLC adds

This downloadable content expands Hunt: Showdown 1896 with a new Hunter named Scaramuccia, two unique weapons, and one tool. The package includes the Opera Glasses variant of the Frontier 73C Marksman, the Macchinista Sparks Pistol, and the Spaccagambe Concertina Trip Mines. A Steam account and the base game are required to activate and play this content.

How the gear performs in extended matches

The Opera Glasses Marksman rewards patient aim during long engagements, while the Macchinista Sparks Pistol offers a specialised sidearm option for close-quarters follow-ups. Spaccagambe trip mines create area denial that persists across a round, influencing enemy movement and securing objectives over time. Each item is balanced for the existing sandbox without introducing new mechanics.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

As a digital DLC, this product places no additional demand on system thermals, fan noise or power consumption beyond the base game requirements. The 64-bit Windows requirement remains unchanged. Activation occurs once through Steam, after which the content resides in the existing game installation.

Questions about this item

Does the Commedia Della Morte DLC add any background processes that increase heat or power draw while running all day?

No, the DLC only adds the Scaramuccia Hunter, Opera Glasses Marksman, Macchinista Pistol and Spaccagambe Trip Mine. It installs through Steam and uses the same CryEngine process as the base game with no extra overhead.

What must I already own on Steam for the 86982 code to activate and play?

You need a Steam account and the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 installed. The product is a DLC download code that requires the parent title to launch.

Will the Frontier 73C Marksman and Sparks Pistol work alongside my existing 1873 load-outs without conflicts?

Yes. The Opera Glasses is a Winfield M1873C variant and the Macchinista is a Sparks Pistol variant. Both slot into standard weapon slots and follow the same upgrade rules as other 1873C and Sparks models.
