Son of Gunpowder DLC content

This downloadable content pack adds four items to Hunt: Showdown 1896 for PC. It includes The Conspirator hunter skin, the Crown Cinders Martini-Henry rifle variant, the Royal Sabotage Scottfield revolver skin, and the Forefather's Fury vitality shot consumable. The pack requires the base game and a Steam account for activation.

Mature action expansion

The DLC carries an ESRB Mature rating and fits the action genre of the main title. It delivers new cosmetic and gameplay options without altering system requirements beyond the original game's 64-bit Windows platform needs. Steam DRM handles installation and licence management automatically.

Themed hunter and weapons

The Conspirator hunter brings a narrative background tied to the Gunpowder Plot legacy. Crown Cinders and Royal Sabotage provide unique visual variants for two existing weapon classes. Forefather's Fury replaces the standard vitality shot with a themed consumable that functions identically in matches. || Buyers who want additional maps or modes will not find them here. Players without the base game cannot use this content. Those seeking purely competitive stat advantages receive none, as items are cosmetic or functionally equivalent.

Questions about this item

How do I activate The Son of Gunpowder DLC on Steam?

Redeem the online game code in the Steam client, then install the DLC while the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 is already present in your library.

Does the Forefather's Fury Vitality Shot consumable expire after use?

It is a single-use item that disappears once consumed during a match, so you will need to reacquire it through future DLC drops or in-game progression.

Will the Crown Cinders Martini-Henry and Royal Sabotage Scottfield remain usable if Crytek rebalances weapons?

Yes, both weapons stay in your inventory permanently; only their stats may be adjusted by future patches.
