What this DLC adds

Hunt: Showdown 1896 - Cry of the Caged Bird delivers a Legendary Hunter named Lilith, two Legendary Weapon Skins for the Krag and New Army, plus a Legendary Consumable Skin for the Stamina Shot. All four cosmetics arrive as a single downloadable package tied to Steam activation. The content expands your roster with a character whose backstory traces escape from a cult and a pact with the Pale Judge.

Who this suits and who it does not

Players who own the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 on Steam and want exclusive Legendary cosmetics for immediate use in matches will find this DLC ready to activate. Buyers without the base game cannot access the Hunter, Weapon Skins or Consumable Skin because the DLC requires the full title installed on the same Steam account. The pack does not add new maps, modes or gameplay mechanics beyond the cosmetic items listed.

The deciding specification

This product is a Steam downloadable code (MPN 86910) that unlocks only after the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 is present in your Steam library. The single requirement that determines compatibility is ownership of that base game on the same platform; without it the code cannot be redeemed or used.

Questions about this item

What does the downloadable Steam code 86910 need before I can activate it?

A Steam account and the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 installed on the same Steam client are required to redeem and install this DLC.

Which step do buyers miss when adding this DLC to Steam?

They redeem the code but forget to launch the base game once so Steam registers the new Hunter Lilith and the three Legendary skins inside the inventory.

Will the Lilith Hunter or Nightjar’s Swoop skin expire or need renewal?

No — the Legendary Hunter and both Legendary weapon skins are permanent account unlocks tied to the Steam licence and never require repurchase.
