Shrine Maiden's Hell DLC Content

This downloadable content pack adds the Miko hunter, Ochita Mozu hunting bow, Shinbatsu throwing knives and Utsusemi katana to Hunt: Showdown 1896. The Steam code delivers the items directly to your library after activation. Released in April 2023, the DLC requires the base game and a Steam account to play. Legendary katana Utsusemi was added in update 1.15 for all owners.

Suits Hunters Wanting New Loadout Options

Players who already own Hunt: Showdown 1896 and want fresh legendary gear will benefit immediately. The pack provides one complete hunter with unique weapons and a tool for varied combat approaches. Buyers without the base game cannot use this content at all. Shoppers seeking additional hunters, maps or gameplay modes beyond this single pack should look elsewhere.

Steam DRM and Base Game Required

Activation depends on a Steam account and ownership of Hunt: Showdown 1896 on the same platform. The downloadable code ties the DLC to your Steam library permanently. No physical media or alternative DRM options are offered. Verify your account and base game access before purchasing the code.

Questions about this item

What base game must I own on Steam before this DLC can be activated?

You need Hunt: Showdown 1896 on Steam; the DLC will not install or run without the base game present in your library.

After redeeming the Steam code, what step unlocks the content inside the game client?

Restart the Steam client so it recognises the new licence, then launch Hunt: Showdown 1896 — the Miko hunter, Ochita Mozu bow, Shinbatsu knives and Utsusemi katana will appear in your inventory.

Will the Utsusemi katana arrive automatically if I bought the DLC before update 1.15?

Yes, update 1.15 added the katana to the package and all earlier purchasers received it automatically the next time they started the game.
