What the DLC adds

This downloadable content adds one exclusive hunter and two unique weapon variants to Hunt: Showdown 1896. The Kid joins the roster as a playable character with a distinct background. Ash and Ember are conversion pistols that change the handling of standard sidearms. All three items unlock immediately after activation on Steam.

How the items change play

The Kid provides a new visual identity and voice lines without altering core mechanics. Ash and Ember conversions modify the appearance and stats of compatible pistols, offering alternative damage profiles and reload behaviour. These options expand loadout variety for players who prefer aggressive close-range builds or specialised duelist roles.

Requirements and limits

The DLC requires the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 and a Steam account for activation. It runs on Windows 10 64 bit systems meeting the minimum processor and memory specifications of the main title. No additional storage beyond the base installation is needed. Players without the base game cannot access the content.

Questions about this item

Will the Steam code for this 87003 DLC expire or need renewal later?

The Steam code activates permanently on your account; no renewal or further maintenance is required once the DLC is redeemed.

What stops me from using The Kid, Ash and Ember content right after purchase?

You must own the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 on Steam and meet the Windows 10 64-bit minimum OS requirement before the DLC becomes playable.

Does running this DLC all day increase GPU heat or fan noise compared to the base game alone?

The DLC adds only cosmetic hunter and weapon skins, so it does not change GPU load, heat output or fan noise beyond what the base game already produces.
