Content and audience

This downloadable content pack adds a themed hunter, two weapons and a tool to Hunt: Showdown 1896 on PC. It is intended for players who already own the base game and want to expand their cosmetic and loadout options with the Iron Bark legend. The package delivers a single hunter skin, a Rival 78 variant, a LeMat revolver skin and a knuckle knife skin, all unlocked through Steam.

Build integration

The DLC requires a Steam account and the base game Hunt: Showdown 1896 installed on the same Steam library. No additional hardware, driver updates or separate launchers are needed beyond what the base game already demands. Once activated, the new hunter and weapon skins appear in the in-game inventory, leaving existing progression, settings and save data untouched.

Sustained experience

The content is purely cosmetic and does not alter gameplay mechanics, match balance or progression speed. Under extended play sessions the added skins behave exactly like the default models, with no extra memory overhead or performance impact. Players who prefer competitive parity without visual variety will not miss any functional advantage by skipping this pack.

Questions about this item

Does the DLC require a 64-bit operating system to run?

The Steam system requirements state that a 64-bit processor and operating system are required for the base game, so the DLC inherits that requirement.

Will the DLC increase fan noise or heat output during long play sessions?

The DLC adds cosmetic items and weapons but does not change the engine load beyond what the base game already demands, so sustained noise and heat remain the same.

What base game must I already own on Steam before this DLC will work?

You must own Hunt: Showdown 1896 on Steam because the DLC requires the base game for activation and play.
