The Madness of Montresor DLC

This downloadable content adds a themed hunter, two weapons and a tool to Hunt: Showdown 1896 on PC. It is aimed at players who already own the base game and want fresh cosmetic and gameplay options. Activation requires a Steam account and the base title installed. The pack delivers narrative-driven gear tied to a Venetian-inspired revenge story.

Upgrading from the base arsenal

Owners of the standard edition gain access to the Montresor hunter, Palazzo’s Pride Krag Silencer, Motley Madness Nagant M1895 and Fortunato Derringer Pennyshot. The jump is worth it when you want distinct load-out variety and lore-rich cosmetics that change both appearance and tactical feel. Without the base game this content cannot be played.

Content capacity and limits

The DLC provides exactly one hunter, two firearms and one tool, expanding load-out choices for matches set in 1896. It does not add new maps, modes or progression systems, so the headroom ends at cosmetic and weapon diversity. Players seeking additional campaigns or multiplayer structures will not find them here.
