Built for field work

The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop designed to withstand harsh environments. Its chassis passes military-grade testing and the touchscreen works with gloves on. An integrated handle and sealed ports help it survive dust, vibration and temperature extremes. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed.

Suits mobile professionals.

Field engineers, first responders and outdoor surveyors benefit from the sunlight-readable 1920 x 1080 display and optional WWAN connectivity. The dual-battery design supports hot-swap operation for full-shift uptime. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or a lighter ultrabook for office-only use should look elsewhere.

Dual M.2 SSD configuration

Storage combines a 512 GB M.2 drive with a 1 TB M.2 drive, both solid-state. This layout separates the operating system from large data sets while keeping access speeds consistent. No mechanical hard drive is present.
