Field workers versus office users

This laptop suits field technicians, emergency responders and mobile professionals who need a sealed chassis, glove-capable touch input and all-day battery options including hot-swap capability. Buyers who need a thin ultrabook for desk work or a high-performance mobile workstation for 3D rendering should look at other form factors.

Dual M.2 SSD configuration

The system ships with a 512 GB M.2 drive paired with a 2 TB M.2 drive, giving two separate solid-state volumes for operating system and data. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 display and external monitors via HDMI and DisplayPort. Connectivity includes USB 3.0, USB Type-C, serial port and RJ-45.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 512 GB M.2 and 2TB M.2 dual SSD drives and what step do people often miss?

Remove the bottom cover screws, insert each M.2 drive at an angle into its keyed slot, then press down and secure with the single retention screw; the step often missed is fully tightening that screw so the drive stays seated under vibration.

What maintenance or replacement will the 16 GB DDR4 memory need later?

The memory is soldered and not user-upgradable; no routine maintenance is required, but if a fault occurs the entire mainboard must be serviced.

What limit appears first on the Intel UHD Graphics 620 during sustained heavy workloads?

Thermal throttling reduces the GPU clock once the chassis hits its temperature ceiling, capping 3D performance before power or memory bandwidth becomes the bottleneck.
