Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 is a 14.0-inch rugged laptop designed to withstand tough conditions while delivering reliable performance. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory. Storage combines a 512GB M.2 drive with a 2TB M.2 drive for ample capacity. The non-touch FHD display offers 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Suits mobile professionals in tough settings

This machine fits field engineers, emergency responders and outdoor surveyors who need a durable, non-touch screen readable in direct sunlight. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday business apps and video output via HDMI or DisplayPort. Buyers who want a lightweight ultrabook, a high-refresh gaming panel or a dedicated graphics card should look elsewhere.

Connectivity and expansion ready

The chassis provides USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C connection, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and an RJ-45 jack for wired networks. Wireless and optional LTE 4G keep you online away from the desk, while dual internal battery options support full-shift work without a wall outlet. The dual M.2 storage layout leaves no 2.5-inch bay to manage.
