Built for harsh environments

The DELL Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch notebook engineered with specialized chassis construction and rigorous component qualification for field work. It targets professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration, and extreme temperatures while running Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 16GB DDR4 memory.

Sustained field performance

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 integrated GPU handles baseline visual tasks across the 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, which remains viewable in direct sunlight and supports 10-point input with gloves. Dual M.2 solid-state drives totalling 512GB and 2TB provide ample local storage for offline data capture during extended shifts away from power outlets.

Straightforward deployment

The chassis includes USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port, and RJ-45 for immediate peripheral connection without adapters. Internal 6-cell and 9-cell battery options support hot-swap bridge operation for continuous uptime. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or a lighter ultraportable form factor should consider other product lines.
