Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop engineered to withstand tough conditions. Its military-grade chassis passes rigorous qualification testing for field work. A quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor reaches 4.20 GHz with 8 MB cache. Eight GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD drive the system.

Upgrade from standard business laptops

This unit replaces conventional notebooks that cannot survive drops, vibration or extreme temperatures. The jump is worth it when daily use involves construction sites, vehicle mounts or outdoor exposure. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles office apps and video playback. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Handles full-shift field work

The 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display remains readable in direct sunlight. Connectivity includes USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial and RJ-45. Optional hot-swap bridge battery extends runtime away from power. Buyers needing dedicated graphics or larger storage capacity should look elsewhere.
