Rugged laptop for field work

The Dell Latitude 5424 is a new rugged notebook built to military-grade standards for harsh environments. It targets professionals who need a reliable 14-inch machine that withstands vibration, dust and temperature extremes. The chassis uses specialised materials and high-cycle testing to ensure durability in outdoor or industrial settings. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and a Dell OEM charger.

16 GB DDR4 and 256 GB SSD capacity

The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive for the operating system and applications. This configuration handles typical business workloads, web browsing and document editing comfortably. Storage headroom is limited for large local media libraries or extensive project files. The SSD provides faster boot and load times compared to a traditional hard drive.

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 limits

Visual output relies on the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 controller, which drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. It supports external monitors via HDMI and DisplayPort connections. The graphics subsystem is suited to 2D productivity, video playback and light rendering tasks. Demanding 3D applications, modern games or GPU-accelerated workloads will exceed its practical capability.
