Dell Latitude 5590 14.0" i7-8650U 32GB 1TB SSD

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 1920 x 1080 IPS non-touch display. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output. This configuration suits professionals needing strong multitasking capacity and fast local storage in a portable chassis.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that your docking station or monitors support HDMI or DisplayPort over USB Type-C for video output. Confirm your network infrastructure works with Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth wireless standards. Ensure any legacy peripherals requiring VGA or USB 3.0 Type-A ports are compatible with the available selection. Buyers who need Thunderbolt 3 certified speeds or a dedicated GPU for heavy 3D workloads should look elsewhere.

Bundled accessories and software impact

Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, providing BitLocker encryption, Remote Desktop host capability and domain join features for managed IT environments. The USB 3.1 Gen1 PowerShare port charges phones or accessories while the laptop sleeps. An SD card slot allows quick media transfer from cameras. The optional SIM tray enables mobile broadband if the WWAN module is fitted.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a charger and do I need to buy a dock or extra cables?

The unit ships with a power adapter; the built-in HDMI, three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, USB-C DisplayPort, VGA, RJ45 and SD slot cover most peripherals without an extra dock.

Should I pick the 32 GB DDR4 / 1 TB SSD configuration or a smaller one?

The listed model already has 32 GB DDR4 and a 1 TB SSD — the maximum factory fit — so no smaller option applies to this specific unit.

What does the 1.9 GHz quad-core i7-8650U mean for everyday workloads?

Four cores and eight threads at up to 4.20 GHz with 8 MB cache handle multitasking, Office suites and video calls smoothly; the integrated UHD 620 graphics drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and external displays.
