Questions about this item

How long will the 32 GB DDR4 memory and 1 TB SSD last before I need to upgrade or replace them?

The 32 GB DDR4 is soldered and cannot be expanded; the 1 TB SSD is replaceable via the M.2 slot if you need more capacity later.

What limits sustained performance first — thermals, power draw, or the i7-8650U boost ceiling?

The 15 W quad-core i7-8650U hits its 4.20 GHz boost briefly, then settles to base clocks once the cooling solution saturates under continuous load.

How loud does the fan get and how hot does the chassis feel when the laptop runs all day on Windows 10 Pro?

Under typical office workloads the fan stays near idle and the palm-rest area remains warm but comfortable; heavy sustained tasks spin the fan audibly and raise surface temperatures noticeably.
