Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop engineered to withstand tough conditions with military-grade construction and rigorous testing. It targets field workers, first responders and mobile professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration and extreme temperatures while delivering reliable Windows 10 Pro performance.

Check your workflow needs

Verify that the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 meets the visual demands of your specialised software, as there is no discrete GPU option. Confirm the 16 GB DDR4 memory and dual 256 GB plus 1 TB M.2 SSD capacity suit your dataset sizes, because neither memory nor storage are user-upgradable after purchase. Ensure the 1920 x 1080 touchscreen with glove-friendly operation aligns with your outdoor visibility requirements.

Fits a mobile field kit

The quad-core i5-8350U processor with 6 MB cache and speeds up to 3.60 GHz handles office and diagnostic workloads on battery power, supported by hot-swap bridge battery capability for continuous shifts. Connectivity includes USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and RJ-45 for legacy equipment, plus optional LTE and GPS for off-grid coordination. The rugged chassis frees you from protective cases while the sunlight-readable display keeps data visible in direct light.
