Professional mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 7730 is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory, a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD, and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P3200 GPU with 6GB GDDR5 video memory. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Suited for CAD and engineering workflows

This configuration fits professionals running computer-aided design, 3D modelling, or GPU-accelerated simulation tools that benefit from certified Quadro drivers and a 72% colour-gamut IPS panel. Buyers who need more than 16GB RAM or multiple GPU configurations should consider other options. The non-touch FHD display limits direct pen input for creative review.

NVIDIA Quadro P3200 6GB GDDR5

The dedicated Quadro P3200 with 6GB GDDR5 is the specification that determines suitability for professional graphics workloads. It provides certified driver support for major CAD and DCC applications, delivering performance comparable to a GeForce GTX 1060 in a mobile thermal envelope.
