Built for harsh environments

The DELL Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop engineered to withstand tough conditions. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8650U processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD. The non-touch FHD display reaches 1920 x 1080 resolution for clear viewing outdoors.

Upgrade from standard business laptops

This machine replaces conventional notebooks when work takes you into dust, vibration, or extreme temperatures. The rugged chassis passes military-grade testing so the system survives drops and shocks that would damage a regular ultrabook. The jump is worth it when downtime caused by hardware failure is not an option.

Sustained field performance

Quad-core processing up to 4.20 GHz handles extended workloads without thermal throttling thanks to the rugged thermal design. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the display and external monitors over HDMI or DisplayPort during long shifts. Hot-swap battery capability keeps the session alive when mains power is unavailable.
