ThinkPad T480 or T490 14" FHD Touchscreen

This 14-inch ultrabook ships as either a ThinkPad T480 or T490 depending on stock. It targets professionals who want a quad-core Intel i7-8550U, 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD in a compact chassis with a touch-enabled IPS panel.

Ready to deploy with Windows 11 Pro

The unit arrives with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and an OEM 45 W or 65 W AC adapter included. No internal assembly is required; optional features such as an SD card reader or fingerprint sensor may be absent on some units.

32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD for heavy multitasking

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration handles large spreadsheets, virtual machines and many browser tabs simultaneously. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 limits 3D workloads and modern gaming, while the single 1 TB SSD leaves no internal bay for a second drive.

What ships in the box and what must I source separately for the T480 or T490?

The box contains the laptop and an OEM 45W or 65W AC adapter; SD or MicroSD cards and a fingerprint reader are optional and not included.

Which configuration should I choose between the 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB or 1TB SSD options?
