Secure PIN-authenticated 2TB portable drive

The iStorage diskAshur2 is a 2TB portable hard drive that uses a built-in keypad for 7-15 digit PIN authentication. It employs real-time AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption with a Common Criteria EAL4+ ready secure microprocessor and FIPS PUB 197 validated algorithm. No software installation is required, making it immediately usable on any compatible device for protecting sensitive personal or company data.

IP56 rated rugged enclosure

The 2.5 inch form factor measures 0.75 x 4.88 x 3.31 inches and weighs 0.48 lb, featuring an IP56 certified dust and splashproof enclosure for daily transport. It connects via USB 3.1 with backwards compatible USB 3.2 speeds reaching up to 361MB/s read and 358MB/s write. The drive draws power directly from the USB port, so no external adapter is needed for operation across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Chrome, thin clients, zero clients, and embedded systems.

Verify USB port availability

Before ordering, confirm your host device provides a standard USB port for both data and power delivery. Ensure your workflow accommodates entering a 7-15 digit PIN on the physical keypad each time the drive is connected. The drive is not suited for environments requiring software-based encryption management, network-attached access, or automated unattended mounting without manual authentication.
