Precision 5530 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch UHD touch mobile workstation built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i9-8950HK six-core processor and an NVIDIA Quadro P2000 graphics card with 4GB GDDR5 memory. It targets professionals who need colour-accurate visuals and certified driver stability for CAD, 3D modelling or video editing workflows. The 3840 x 2160 IPS panel covers 72% colour gamut and supports multi-touch input. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Check power, ports and memory headroom

Verify that your existing docking station or monitor cables match the laptop's Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.0 and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports. The system ships with 8GB DDR4 RAM; the platform supports up to 32GB, so plan an upgrade if your projects demand more memory. The included AC adapter is required for full performance under sustained loads. Ensure your software licences are compatible with Windows 10 Pro.

Included adapter and storage flexibility

The box contains a Dell AC adapter, so no separate power brick purchase is needed. The 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD provides fast boot and application launch; the chassis also accepts SATA or NVMe M.2 drives up to 1TB if you need additional capacity later. Thunderbolt 3 enables high-speed external storage or GPU enclosures for future expansion. No optical drive is fitted.
