Precision 5530 UHD Touch Workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation with a 3840 x 2160 touchscreen. It runs on an Intel Core i9-8950HK six-core processor at 2.90 GHz with turbo up to 4.80 GHz. The system includes 32 GB DDR4 memory, a 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P2000 with 4 GB GDDR5 video memory. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Who This Suits And Who It Does Not

Creative professionals needing colour-accurate UHD touch input and certified Quadro drivers for CAD or rendering will benefit from the 72% colour gamut panel and ISV-certified graphics. Buyers who want more storage than 256 GB or require user-replaceable memory should look at other configurations. The thin chassis limits upgrade flexibility for future expansion needs.

Deciding Specification 256 GB NVMe SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD capacity. Project files, virtual machines and large media libraries can exceed this space quickly. If your workflow demands 512 GB or 1 TB of fast internal storage from day one, this unit will require an external drive or a different configuration.
