Everyday 17-inch laptop for office and study

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 pairs a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 256GB PCIe SSD plus 1TB HDD. Windows 11 Pro runs on a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS panel at 60Hz. Integrated Intel UHD graphics handle standard productivity and video playback.

Silver chassis with fingerprint reader and modern

A backlit full-size keyboard includes a numeric keypad and a fingerprint sensor for quick sign-in. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1. Ports include one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1, HDMI, a microSD reader and a headset jack. The 47 WHr battery pairs with a 45W adapter.

Dual storage replaces single-drive compromises

The SSD holds the operating system and active apps for fast boot and load times, while the hard drive stores large media libraries and backups. Buyers who want more than 8GB of memory or discrete graphics for creative workloads should look elsewhere. The 17.3-inch form factor also limits portability compared with smaller ultraportables.
