17.3" FHD IPS Display Laptop

This ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3-inch Full HD laptop powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor. It combines 36GB of DDR4 memory with a dual-storage setup of 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD and 1TB HDD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drive the 60Hz IPS panel. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Suits Large-Screen Office Users Not Gamers

The 17.3-inch display and full-size backlit keyboard suit professionals who need a spacious workspace for documents and multitasking. The 36GB memory and fast SSD support heavy browser loads and office suites. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming or GPU-accelerated rendering should look elsewhere because this model relies on integrated graphics only.

36GB DDR4 Memory Configuration Decides Fit

This unit ships with 36GB of DDR4 RAM composed of 4GB soldered onboard plus a 32GB SO-DIMM module. The mixed layout means only one slot is available for future expansion. Verify that this total capacity and the single open slot meet your workload requirements before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How does the 3.6 GHz turbo frequency behave when the laptop is running everyday workloads?

The Core i5-1035G1 can reach 3.6 GHz on short bursts, but sustained speeds depend on the 45 W power supply and 47 Wh battery thermal limits.

What does the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port actually support for data and video?

It runs at 5 Gbps for data and does not carry a native video signal; external displays must use the HDMI port.

Will a standard 2.5-inch drive fit inside the chassis alongside the existing 1 TB hard drive?

The 16.00 x 10.06 x 0.62 in frame only houses the factory 1 TB HDD and the PCIe NVMe SSD; there is no spare 2.5-inch bay.
