17.3-inch laptop for everyday work

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 pairs a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS panel with a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor that reaches 3.6 GHz. It ships with Windows 11 Home and includes a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard and 720p webcam for daily productivity.

Dual-drive storage with 512GB NVMe and 2TB HDD

The 512GB PCIe NVMe drive provides fast boot and application loading while the 2TB hard drive adds bulk capacity for media and archives. 8GB of DDR4 memory handles typical multitasking; heavier creative workloads or virtual machines will exceed the available RAM.

45W adapter and 47Wh battery for light mobility

The 45-watt power supply and three-cell 47Wh battery suit desk use with occasional unplugged sessions. Integrated Intel UHD graphics keep heat and fan noise low during office tasks; sustained loads such as video encoding will raise thermals and trigger audible fan activity.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port work with my older USB 2.0 peripherals?

Yes, the USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, so your existing peripherals will connect and function normally.

How can I verify the 512GB PCIe SSD and 2TB HDD are both recognised after setup?

Open File Explorer or Disk Management in Windows 11 Home; both drives should appear with their full capacities listed and be ready for use.

Does the box include a Micro SD card or do I need to buy one separately?

The laptop has a Micro SD reader but no card is included; you will need to purchase a Micro SD card separately if you want to use that slot.
