17.3-inch laptop with dual storage

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS laptop powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor. It comes with 20GB of DDR4 memory and a combined 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 2TB hard drive. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on the system.

Check ports and memory layout before ordering

The chassis provides one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 1 port, one HDMI output and a microSD card reader. There is no optical drive. The 20GB RAM consists of 4GB soldered onboard plus a 16GB SO-DIMM module, so only one slot is available for future upgrades.

Replaces smaller single-drive notebooks

This model upgrades from laptops limited to a single solid-state drive by adding a second 2TB hard drive for bulk storage. The jump is worthwhile for users who need both fast boot speeds and large local capacity without external drives. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.
