Large-screen laptop for office work

The ASUS VivoBook 17.3 inch model combines a 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 four-core processor with 36GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display provides a spacious workspace at 60Hz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles standard business applications and video playback. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Memory and storage upgrades by Velztorm

Technicians open the factory box to install the 32GB SODIMM module alongside the 4GB onboard memory, reaching 36GB total. The 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD replaces the original drive for faster boot and load times. A fingerprint reader and backlit full-size keyboard with numeric keypad are standard features. Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1 provide current wireless connectivity.

Check charger and port needs before ordering

The included power adapter is rated at 45W and the battery is a 3-cell 47 WHr unit; verify this matches your expected runtime. Video output relies on a single HDMI port. Data ports consist of one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-A, and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C. A micro SD card reader and a headphone/microphone combo jack complete the I/O.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB SODIMM be swapped for a larger DDR4 module later?

The 32 GB DDR4 SODIMM occupies the single upgrade slot; it can be replaced with a higher-capacity DDR4 stick if one becomes available.

What stops the Core i5-1035G1 from holding its 3.6 GHz turbo during long workloads?

The 45 W power supply and 47 Wh battery limit sustained power, so the CPU will throttle to stay within thermal and electrical constraints.

How loud does the fan get and how hot does the chassis feel after hours of use?

Under continuous load the cooling fan spins up audibly and the keyboard deck warms noticeably, typical for a slim 17.3" chassis with a 45 W adapter.
