Large screen laptop for everyday work

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3 inch laptop built around a 10th generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with four cores and a turbo frequency of 3.6 GHz. It ships with 36GB of DDR4 memory configured as 4GB onboard plus a 32GB SO-DIMM module and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display runs at 60 Hz and is non-touch. Windows 11 Home 64-bit is pre-installed.

Silver chassis with full size keyboard

The silver chassis measures 16.00 by 10.06 by .62 inches and weighs 5.06 lb. A full-size backlit keyboard with a ten-key numeric pad and a fingerprint security system are integrated. Ports include one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1, two USB 2.0, one HDMI, a micro SD card reader and a headphone/microphone combo jack. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1. A 720p HD webcam sits above the screen.

45 watt power supply and 47 watt-hour battery

The system draws power from a 45W adapter and a 3-cell 47 WHr battery. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles video output without a discrete GPU, keeping thermal output modest for office tasks and media playback. Fan noise stays low during typical productivity workloads. The compact power brick and moderate battery capacity suit users who work near an outlet most of the day.
